This product comprises platinum nanoparticles (PtNPs) on activated carbon powder from Cabot Corporation (Norit SX Plus / Norit SX Plus F). The support materials (Norit SX Plus and Norit SX Plus F) are powders with a median particle diameter of 20 µm and specific surface area (SSA) of 1000 m²/g. Further relevant information of the support material (including impurity concentrations from an elemental analysis) can be found in the materials information document (see Related Documents above). The PtNPs have relatively narrow size distributions with polydispersities of about 25 %. Every catalyst material is custom made and the actual size distribution can be provided with the optional TEM analysis.
